A winning choice for marketing wine and spreading the enological culture

Fiera Roma has signed an agreement with the Beijing Yanqing International Wine Exposition Organizing Committee to organize the BEIJING YANQING INTERNATIONAL WINE EXPOSITION 2014 – 29TH 31st July

Beijing Wine Expo 2014 is the leading trade fair for wine in China, connected to the 11th International Conference on Grapevine Breeding and Genetics, organized every four years by the International Society for Horticultural Science. For the first time this important international organization chose, with Beijing, an Asian headquarters. The Central Government of China, taking advantage of this occasion, made huge investments to make Yanqing County, in the Beijing District, the center of the Asian wine market.

Forty-nine wine cellars (some over 10,000 square meters) spread over an area of hundreds of hectares of vineyards, congress centers, large hotels, golf courses, scientific research centers, a wine museum and a center for technological innovation form the background of a commercial area that includes the Badaling International Convention and Exhibition Center, the Wine Quality Evaluation Center, the Wine Trade Center and the Wine Bonded Warehouse.

300,000 tickets and invitations were sent to professionals: wine retailers and distributors, food and beverage organizations, representatives, professionals and high-end customers. Proposals specifically aimed for large supermarket chains have been directed at Wal-mart, Carrefour, Vanguard, Lotus Bofeng, Hualian, Wumart. China Cuisine Association and China Restaurant Association will use this event as a basis for their negotiations, and a selection of representatives from 200 hotels will be present at the fair for a B2B meeting with the exhibitors. Bank of China, ICBC, China Merchants Bank, China Airline, Petro-China, Lenovo Group are planning to organize visits for their high-end customers.

The extraordinary attention with which the government is focusing on this event, the institutional presence of Wine in China, the main specialized Chinese magazine, the communication through the mainstream media, namely China Central Television, Local Television, China Daily, Beijing Evening News, and the echo that the event will produce throughout China will enable participants to achieve high visibility on the Chinese market, meeting the main players in the entire Asian market in the splendid environment of the ecological district of Beijing, just below the Great Wall.
